Mongan Keith Was Born in 1975, the Fourth is of six boys and WAS Brought up in Dublin, Ireland.
After Studying Art & Design in Ballyfermot College, I Worked on Various historical building restoration and conservation projects Including Trinity College, City Hall, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Andrews Church and the Gaiety Theatre.
Keith Took part in European Cultural Programs on location in Jutland, Denmark, working on a project to restore Viking villages from Their Origins. Also this by involving residency WHERE I Studied Many Danish and Participate in cultural and musical events.
Then I Embark on a round the world trip Which I drew inspiration from historical early for work. The These emotional response to WAS travels to commit Himself to His passion and Become a full time artist.
Keith Moved to Corsica in 2007 Where the Abundance of light Would Have A Revolutionary effect on historical work. Altering That I discovered almost "chopping" his paintbrush Forced him to paint with a new historical Movement to more natural hand and eye, Allowing him to relay historical vision in a more realistic way. Capturing the very Substance of the rugged landscape That Surrounded him. This work dog on Becoming sculptural touch yet always Maintains the basic elements of Fluidity.
Recently back living and working in Dublin, I've Been Invited by the Labourd Gallery in Saint Jean de Luz France to engage in a series of paintings in May 2010. Each summer this small fishing village Becomes Mecca for artists and art lovers alike. From the 27th of September till the 30th of October Keith's work Will Be viewable THROUGHOUT Various venues, at the annual Ranelagh Arts Festival. I Also exhibits long ESTABLISHED work with the Green Gallery in Dublin.
